29 sept - here goes!

Hi everyone!

I hope we can put the agonies of the research project far enough behind us now to focus on this last module!

Lianne, I feel sorry for you being "stuck" with the last of the long hard slog but am very glad it is you as I know you will make this interesting and exciting! You and Steve are both so passionate about this subject so I am really expecting to learn a lot.

The first challenge of course was to try to figure how to get onto the site. I thought I was very clever and got onto my first blog quite easily but then it kept jumping to some French woman's blog??? Oh shame the poor IT challenged. So I am also expecting to learn how to not make an IT mess of things!

As with every other module, I feel a bit overwhelmed and stupid when I look at the outcomes. But Presumably with some effort I will come out the other side somewhat wiser and certainly more knowledgeable about the e-learning field.

Keen to get reading now and looking forward to a different subject. I have to be honest I am a bit sick of all the articles I read for my research and even more sick of my own writing! I'm sure most of my classmates can identify.

  1. Welcome to the last one!!! I can definitely empathise with you and your colleagues as I remember what it was like to get to this point in the course and really not relish the idea of yet another assignment. My best advice would be to stick to the weekly guidelines. Week 1 being the analysis portion of the ADDIE process. Identifying the problem and the students in question, including an idea on how to determine their needs is always the first step. That is what this week is about. Good luck!
