This week has gone even faster than last week but I suppose, although I feel as if I haven't achieved too much, I am a bit further than I was last week.
I find I keep returning to the analysis and adding a bit there - and then deleting!
It is definitely helpful to work with this ADDIE model. It keeps me from going in circles - or at least my circles are smaller! I do find that I am not always keeping Design and Development separate in my mind.
I am keeping things simple - I figure it is better to do something simple better than come up with something complex and make a mess.
I am, being not so good with technology, a bit stuck on how to upload videos in a way that is easy for students to access. I tried sending a video this week. I eventually put it in Dropbox and sent the person the link but they said they couldn't access it but I don't know why. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
HI Dianne
ReplyDeleteHave you considered using the ThinkBinder application? It has so many different features and would be useful for you since your students have access to the internet. Students can access this at any time and easily upload their own videos if they need to.
Hi Rhoda
DeleteThis sounds like something to think about, can you send a link or something? Thanks!
Thanks Rhoda. It looks like a great app. My concern is how much data etc would be used. I have had a few students saying they can't access anything that is not on SUNlearn without it costing them. also the connectivity is not great in the communities. So I will investigate thinkbinder further.
DeleteDianne, I also decided to keep my circle very small (in terms of having a small audience to start with) and my target audience's needs require a definite practical component of the skills they need to learn from the e-learning I want to design, so uploding of demonstrating video's will surely be one of my solutions. Keep well.
