development begins

Hi everyone
I hope you are all madly creating by now (ha ha!)
I decided this afternoon to try to record something for my podcast. I had to find a quiet area - my digital recorder is super-sensitive. I sat in a quiet room in my house ( I work from home) - only to find there was a pin tailed whydah pecking at the window non-stop! there was a very clear tic tic in the background! Crazy bird!
Therefore I tried another place but my husband came home and came in to say hello!
I gave up but I have learnt that getting a quality recording is going to be an issue!
Is anyone else trying out various developments? Hope you have better luck than I did.

  1. Hi Dianne. Still stuck at the design phase. It's seems like there are so many aspects that you need to look at and so many intricate details that one needs to consider. Also, there's quite a lot of overlapping between the first three phases! Good try with the voice recording...but don't give up. I suspect that there will be many challenges to my planned intervention as well. Keep going...

  2. Yes, Rhoda is correct....just keep going, or as Dory from Finding Nemo would say "just keep swimming" :) The difficulties with finding quiet spaces for podcasts are often experienced by lecturers, but it does work for helping students, so don't give up. I'm glad to see you're in the development phase and will be interested to see how you progress.
